I would probably put the chances of landing a kid who has an offer from UConn at negative 10%. Regardless of whether the kid is actually good enough to contribute on a team like Connecticut or not. But what the hell do I know...

Maybe he'll just commit to UConn and then transfer to us three days after getting on campus

He gave a short list of teams and Drexel was included so I would say that is somewhat of a good sign.

He played HS ball at Strath Haven and Ridley, so maybe if he wants to come back to the area or if the big schools he favors at this time don't have offers for him when he commits. You never know though maybe he will value playing time over a big name school.

Next time I get an update from him I will ask him more questions about his selection criteria.

I guess I need to let old high school rivalries fade away. Perhaps Calhoun's health issues will be a factor in his decision.

Strath Haven and Ridley... not sure if they prepare a student for the rigors of a Drexel education. (j/k if any of you went there. I gotta get my Central League jabs in though)
