Probably won't happen BUT considering it's only one year he just might feel the comfort zone of playing with a friend, coach he knows and close to home might get us over the hump. It's obviously got us in the picture!

He is quoted in article that one of his preferences would be to go to a school whose offense centers aroung the big men/front ocurt. Our history is just the opposite 'in guards we trust ' and all that. Of coursr the reason for that is that we really have not had and versitile athletic big men to speak of.

Two bigs (Barnes and Henson) announced they are leaving UNC for the NBA. I'm sure other major programs will have similar defections. I would be shocked if AO lands at Hofstra.

    Thaddeus Hall to visit Hofstra:

    Zach Braziller ‏ @NYPost_Brazille

Hall said he will take visits in April, pick school late in the month. St. John's, Maryland, Fordham, Hofstra, South Carolina involved, tcu

Caught up with Jefferson's Thaddeus Hall tonight at the Mayor's Cup. He said he has no favorites, despite reports to the contrary

If we can not land AO love to see us sign T Hall but the competition there also looks awfully tough...

Have only seen him play twice. He is a 6ft5 slasher. I think we have two other simliar type of players. I think if we dont get AO, then we should push hard for Sledge and Bernardi.
Of all the things I have lost, I miss my mind the most!

He is a 6-5 slasher but a higher level player [Benardi and possibly Sledge ***Hall****] plus he does have a pretty good outside shot [not as good as Bernardi but he does a lot of other things better then Bernardi] plus he can also play the 2 [SG] if needed.

    Per Adam Zagoria:

Iowa State guard Tavon Sledge will visit Iona next weekend. “At present, the focus is to see what he thinks of Iona,” Mike Moore, Sledge’s mentor, told SNY.tv “No other visits will be scheduled before the Iona visit.”
