VCU's band is ridiculously sloppy (by their own admission).
GMU's band sounds like a big, green bag of trash.
Towson & JMU's bands are MUCH better than both Mason & VCU. This poll always makes me laugh.

Towson is a more polished band.
VCU is a better Pep Band.

And Mason's band blows all of them away. It's huge and in a pep band setting quantity has a quality all its' own.

Conf us making a bigtime bowl is very rare. And we aren't getting a bcs conference invite.
So like I said, unless we go big east, I'd rather stay fcs.
There is no "national respect" for conference USA or sunbelt teams.

Very aware. It's at a basketball game, and there's no marching. There's usually a drumset and no marching percussion, unless you're Mason's band from 2000. Then there's some random Fairfax High School marching snare drum. Not even kidding. That happened.
Not sure how that applies to my earlier comments.....
