should this whole ACC thing happen (Miami, Syracuse and Boston College defecting from the Big East to the ACC), will Mason maybe be able to make the upgrade to fill in lost space? honestly, i say not bloody likely, but i still think it's an interesting possibility. It's not as if we're out of traveling range and we're not a collection of push overs. :?

i would absolutely LOVE to see an upgrade to the ranks of the Big East. think about it: Georgetown, Pitt, Tech, Notre Dame, UConn, etc... all coference opponents who would draw AMAZING crowds at the Pat Dome.

I realize that this is a pipe dream at this point, but it's just food for thought...
