No surprise here, she seemed to be the front runner the whole way.
I wonder who else got interviews......

What a BS hire.
This was clearly Jollay's job to lose all along, and TOC, Merten and Rohland (that's right Gobo, I said it) clearly conspired to screw him out of it over one misspoken comment regarding the placement of individuals in dorm housing.
PC Witch Hunt!
I bet Samnang doesn't even get offered the team manager slot either.
I have a son. He looks like Brian Terry.
Welcome to Mason Nation, Mrs. Porter.8)
Will her burger at Brions, feature Portabello Mushrooms? Me thinks so
we have a women's team?

According to our web site, all of our assistants will stay with the program.
Jeri Porter - Head Coach
Mike Iuzzolino - Assistant Coach
Chrissy Kelly - Assistant Coach
Kia Cole - Assistant Coach
Darren Guensch - Director of Basketball Operations
I honestly don't follow the women's team that closely, so I'm curious if those who do are happy with this hire. Did O'Connor go with the safe pick, or is Jeri the right person to turn this program around?
Thank you for the kind words, Hugh. TOC gave me an interview, and that's all I can ask. Used to be a bottle of scotch could get you miles within that department, but I guess TOC is too good for bribery nowadays....
I also blame Gobo for my failure. He will be dealt with.
Well, Porter was 2-3 this year against the CAA and Debbie was 4-15, so I can't imagine going anywhere but up. In addition 6 of the 15 players on Radford are from this area. And their leading scorer was a 6-3 kid who Porter recruited that averaged 12 and 8. Wish we recruited a 6-3 kid who can put up 12 and 8 this century.
What a shock, Washington and Lee HS, Annandale HS, Suitland HS, etc. kids on a womens basketball postseason qualifier. What a shock. Not that all of these kids could play on Mason, but this is a common theme.
