Conf us making a bigtime bowl is very rare. And we aren't getting a bcs conference invite.
So like I said, unless we go big east, I'd rather stay fcs.
There is no "national respect" for conference USA or sunbelt teams.

Don't think any of the above posters made that claim. They were merely saying that Mason isn't exactly what most would call a prestigious university. In any case, they're just having a laugh, no malice intended.

Hey man, chill out. I don't think "most" people would call JMU a prestigious university. The original post was a crack on the commentator calling GMU a prestigious university. Had the commentator said that the president of Princeton was the head of a "prestigious university" we wouldn't be having this conversation. I think you're a little too touchy on this subject.
