I would post this on the CAA board but I can never get on it. :?

Bobby Lutz is interviewing for the South Alabama job and is probably going to get it.

why would he leave Charlotte for USA? Well, in the ESPN article he said he has had "issues" with Charlotte's move to the A10.

There move along with St Louis' was just a disaster from the beginning. SLU will be gone soon and Charlotte just has no where to go, except.......

Seems like a Joe Scott like move. Not saying the A10 is without many faults, but this guy isn't exactly lighting the world on fire and he had some expectations the last couple years.

Charlotte would be a great pickup for the CAA and would make UNCW happy. Is UNCC considering Football?

Would we go to 14 (maybe ask UR back to get a couple easy men's hoops games on the schedule) or do we drop one or two?

    Yes.
They approve that and bye-bye A10. I could see 6-7 teams that could make it work at the IA level in the CAA

Admittedly, I'm ignorant of this issue, but could you add Hofstra to that list? I would think being that close to NYC would be a benefit.

i think a lot of the reason why georgia state was added was to bring in another large market (atl) but that is very interesting to see dan reeves get hired at gsu
