    Default BBall Season tix

    I just tried to get my season tickets over the phone, and they told me that I had to mail in the form that I received in the mail. Is there really no way for me to order season tickets either over the phone or online?

    Hehehe.....you probably need to specify you want them for the 2005-2006 season....

    Default Student tickets?

    Do students get in to basketball games with their I.D., is there a ticketing process, or do they pay like the general public?

    Students get into all home athletic events by showing their IDs for free (except for the JMU game, where we had to pick up tickets in advance)

    I wish that were the case. I got a season ticket form for 2005-2006 in the mail, and I'm pretty sure that's what she was telling me I had to mail in. In response to my request for particular seating (section 24, as close to the floor as possible), she said to include a note. I ordered my homecoming football ticket over the phone; is there some kind of double standard for basketball?

    Our whole ticket operation is still done manually. Prehistoric, and inevitably produces glitches and surprises.

    ..........and this is the second biggest problem with Tribe sports (see my comment on The Tap for the first, IMO). I can't believe our ticket office LITERALLY uses only 19th century technology for basketbal season tickets.

    Luckily, the good things with Tribe sports more than outweigh the bad -- but this is ridiculous.
