Default Ticha lifts Sacremento to West Finals

I didn't think Sac had much of a chance, so I didn't even watch that game. I was pretty surprised to open the Pilot this morning and not only see that Sac won, but that Ticha (of all people) hit the winning basket.

Ticha had only 1 point in the game prior to the winning bucket. I saw the highlights on the NBA Preview channel and it wasn't a Hail Mary shot. That's just what all of Ticha's layups look like. She chucks the ball up on the run and tries to draw the foul. 9 times out of 10, she misses the shot. This time it went in.

Good to see 2 ODU alums still alive in the playoffs (Ticha and Tanty). Lu's Cleveland team was eliminated last night by Detroit.

Ticha scored 16 pts (yes, SIXTEEN points) in Sacramento's win against LA Friday night. She was 2-3 from 3.

LA thumped Sacramento today. Ticha took a nasty fall early in the game. Lisa Leslie kneed Ticha in the stomach as Ticha was going for a steal. Ticha was in some serious pain, but returned to the game a few minutes later. By then, LA was on cruise control. I only watched the first 15 minutes, but Ticha looked like she was still in pain. She hobbled around several times while grabbing her stomach.

I hope she's okay and ready for the next game. The best-of-3 series is tied 1-1, so the winner of the next game makes the WNBA finals.

Didn't see the game but sounds like some pretty rough tactics on the part of Leslie. Hope Ticha can bounce back quick enough to make Lisa pay for the unsportsmanlike conduct. Go Monarchs!

I'm not a big Lisa Leslie fan, but she hit Ticha accidentally.

As Lisa was going for a layup, Ticha slapped the ball out of her hands. Ticha then dove to save the ball from going out of bounds and Lisa's kneed her in the stomach. Lisa's knee was only raised because she was going for the layup.

Ticha fell immediately to the floor and hunched over in pain. She didn't even move for a good minute or so. At first I thought she had the wind knocked out of her, but the trainer said she just got hit and was in pain.

Stupid Ann Myers keep harping on Ticha's shoulder (which was injured last year). Jeesh, that woman gets on my nerves.

LA beat Sacramento 66-63 to win the series and advance to the WNBA finals. Lisa Leslie scored the game winner with 9 seconds left. Sac had a chance to tie with free throws, but missed (the ODU free throw jinx).

Ticha tried to gut it out, but only played 16 minutes. She was having a hard time breathing after game 2 and was on an IV for a while. They don't know if she broke her ribs or just bruised them.

So Lisa Leslie kneed Ticha in the stomach in both game 1 and game 2. Strange... The game 2 hit looked like an accident to me. I didn't watch game 1.

Even though they lost a close game to get to the finals, the season turned out alot better than they probably expected after the start they had. I'd like to see Detroit beat LA, cant stand Milton and Leslie.

I love Milton, but don't care much for Leslie, as hard as I've tried.
