    Default Miscellaneous Recruiting Information

These are April articles that mentioned the Seahawks.

Dion Dacones 6-6 200 WF Mouth of Wilson, VA Oak Hill Academy This strong wing does a lot of his damage from 15-feet on in. His consistency is his biggest plus, he’s always around the ball. His stock rises as his jumper gets more consistent. He has interest from Wyoming, Boston U., Davidson, Old Dominion, VCU, and UNC-Wilmington.

Ross Wilfley 6-11 215 C charlotte, NC South Mecklenburg This fast developing southern sleeper has grown 8 inches over the last two years. He has good skills, but needs to get stronger and more physical to reach full potential. He’s hearing from Evansville, UNC-Greensboro, Binghamton, and UNC-Wilmington.

Patrick Tatham 6-9 230 C Brampton, Ont. Chinguacousy Skilled Canadian has ability to face hoop to 17-feet and isn’t afraid to get his nose bloody in the paint. Could be a steal for mids! He’s hearing from Western Kentucky, San Francisco, Holy Cross, Albany, UNC-Wilmington, and Central Connecticut State.

Dramane Diarra 6-8 220 C Cloud County CC, KS This active insider can get on glass and runs floor in transition. He has touch facing at 12-feet and can catch and finish in traffic. He’s hearing from St. Louis, Iowa State, Old Dominion, New Mexico State, Cleveland State, UNC-Wilmington, Texas-San Antonio, Southern Illinois, Eastern Illinois and San Diego.

Torre Johnson 6-5 210 WF Milwaukee, WI Juneau This physical combo forward has the quicks to move to wing in college, even though he is more comfortable crashing glass on baseline. As shot range increases, his stock goes up! He still has to qualify, but is hearing from Ball State, Evansville, South Alabama, UNC-Wilmington, Idaho, and UW-Milwaukee.

Originally, Dion Dacons had Delaware listed as his only school 'of interest'.

I read somewhere that Dacons had committed to UD.

I'm pretty sure he hasn't committed. I get the impression from recent reports that Dacons is no longer considering UD. Kind of a shame, since I hear he is an outstanding student, in addition to his basketball talent.

I heard through the grapevine that you are trying to get involved, albeit late, with Russel Carter, a 6'3 SG from Paulsboro, NJ. He has offers/interest from W&M, Drexel, Vanderbilt, Notre Dame, among others. His stock has risen dramatically lately, and would be a good signing. I think he was actually planning on going to W&M, but with their current situation, I doubt that's a lock.
He's a pretty athletic, strong, 6'3 combo guard. Big time scorer. I'm not sure how solid my info is at this time, but if I hear anything else, I'll let you know.
