Thread: Psu

Is it safe to assume that since nobody on here has said anything that it's a non-issue, but I'm surprised there haven't been any rumblings about PSU Transfers. Sure, they can go to other FCS programs and not sit out a year, but with so many regional players, eight from Maryland, I wouldn't be floored if there was a player that just wanted to get away from the stress and play football without distraction.

Yes, there have been rumblings. Many key guys are apparently staying-for now. Towson can use a cornerback and maybe a LB.

Then why not transfer to UMD? They are in dire need of an influx of talent with their many transfers. These are FBS recruits (3,4 & 5 stars). Why transfer fcs when you can play, possibly start, at your in- state fbs school without penalty?

Agree. I think the 2* or less guys would transfer to FCS because they probably won't be able to play at other FBS schools that already have a set two deep.

I also agree. However, those might be just the kids that were buried on the psu depth chart before the studs transfer out. Those 2 stars may now stand a chance of playing time in the Big 10. That's hard to pass up.

But the so-called studs are staying reportedly. (for the time being).
