Won't help the A10 RPI either.
Boom!!!!!!!!
Davidson was once very highly regarded in the world of college basketball. As may have already been mentioned, it's where Lefty first made a name for himself as a coach.
For those a few years younger than I, that's "Lefty" as in Lefty Driesell. Davidson, University of Maryland, JMU, and GSU were some of his coaching stops with Maryland being the school where he spent much of his career.
Davidson would fit in well in the CAA. They have recognition and have been in the NCAA Tourney many times in past few years.
love to see Davidson in the CAA. Academically thay are a top notch school, name recognition is high due to their Elite 8 runa couple of years ago and they are local to Charlotte - love to see the Dragons come into my back yard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why would the CAA go after CoC instead of Wofford or Ga Southern? Wofford has been a decent school in recent years. Is it because the CAA has a better chance convincing CoC then the others

Stony Brook and Albany to the CAA for football in 2013 rumor has it. Next thing you know they will be invited for basketball. Then Mason leaves because it can. Then we are essentially America East. Don't have a good feeling about this.
Phila. Titles: Phillies 1980, 2008; Athletics 1910,1911,1913,1929,1930; Eagles 1948,1949,1960; Flyers 1974,1975; Sixers 1967,1983; Warriors 1956
Realistically, the CAA will not be a top 20 basketball conference in the next 5 years. Thus, the probability of Drexel obtaining an at-large bid in such an inferior league is significantly reduced. In addition, recruits will not want to play for a program with horrible athletic facilities and against inferior opponents.
The future looks bleak without the construction of the Armory.
