The "rumor" (and it is just that...a big rumor) is that Mason would (hopefully) be invited to any basketball conference that involves Big East schools that break away from the football playing Big East schools (G-Town, Providence, etc).

It has ZERO to do with football.

So, when they break away from the Big East, are they going to be called the "Little East"?

A lot of news about Charleston lately, but not much about Davidson. I know Davidson's MBB coach was quoted as pro SoCon a few months back, but he's not the decision maker. Is Davidson waiting to see what Charleston does or are they content with the SoCon?
