    It was great to see a CAA/TU article on the front page of the sports section.

    We need that kind of repeated exposure to consitantly sell out

    Winning would really help. Baltimore City wants to build a new new 18,000 arena next to Camden Yards. The one issue is who is going to play in it. If we could develop a good mid-major program like VCU, Xavier, Butler, Mason, Dayton, Old Dominion, etc.. I could see Towson filling some of the arena void. The top mid major teams draw 6,000-11,000 every game.

    The issue with the arena has nothing to do with who is going to play in it, it's about who is going to pay for it. First Mariner Arena does a large profit off not having an anchor tennant as they have more flexibility over concert and event dates.
