This would be a good time for all parties to agree to stop the petty smack talk on EVERY thread. It doesn't bother me one way or another because I couldn't care less what anonymous posters think of me or my school but at some point we need to be afforded an opportunity to read through a thread without the inevitable smack. This thread is a good example...there's nothing funny about rape or ruining the lives of two young men accused of something so heinous. There has to be a line somewhere.

There is room for logical discussion. I think everyone agrees that a few CAA schools have had problems with some of their student-athletes. In most cases, the program has responded swiftly in that the school suspended the player(s) and fully cooperated with law enforcement. Penn State is a ridiculous comparison as THAT program totally ignored the obvious in an effort to save face and that put kids at risk.

We don't know any of the facts but the bottom line is that this is not good for ODU or any of the parties involved.

I hope they can clear their names but if not good riddance. We certainly don't need any criminals or thugs at ODU regardless of their talents.

Wow. Get a life. And don't lecture me about bandwagon fans... I don't lament in the losses of other teams even though some apparently do. The fact that you can't control your juvenile impulses tells me that you are a petty, jealous loser.
