How will the CAA ban on ODU and Georgia State impact any potential candidate's decision to join the league versus staying put where they already reside? I know some will be quick to say why should it matter to them but that could be your favorite CAA school in that position one day if they were to exit the CAA for another conference. Why are students athletes being punished due to an administrative decision? I know it's the rule but it is a bad rule and what purpose does it serve other than creating unnecessary animosity towards a departing school. I think it was the wrong decision and I don't think it leaves a good impression for schools that are considering coming to the CAA. It's a bad rule and CAA should get rid of it.
