He said all the right things and he is a lefty. Interesting choice. When it comes to bigs I dont mind going the JUCO or transfer route. Bigs at the mid major level are projects out of high school. If we get one out of high school expect him to sit for the first two years before they develop into a servicable player.
Of all the things I have lost, I miss my mind the most!
Plus nowadays it seems the biggest rick in recruiting a HS'er - is that they use this as a stepping stone and transfer either because of lack of playing time or because they have gotten better and think they can play at a higher level - I feel like recruits do not seem to be all that committed for the long haul and are more willing to sit the year and transfer - it is there progitive but the high rate of transfers seems odd to me.
Its all about the changing landscape of college basketball. First it was the coaches leaving even though they are still under contract. The schools let them out then the recruit is wondering where does that leave me. Also the ever changing conference realignment. Noe instead of playing other schools which might be in the area where you live it changes what a player and his family mindset is. It is also getting easier to transfer with all the "hardship cases" and schools are willing to let recruits and players out of their schlorships and commitments.

I am still unable to post the database, I have tried numerous times. If you are able to read this please message me and I will give you the information to post.
*EDIT* I guess I am unable to post because I am providing web links to youtube videos and player scouting pages to each of the players, as a new person do I not have those abilities? How long do I have to wait before having those capabilities and why is there a wait period for such a basic function?

Please let me know if I missed anyone. Moving forward I will keep this post updated with any activity. If you see Hofstra make any additional offers or show interest please post in the thread and show source so I can add them. Thanks and Enjoy!
Click on the players name and it will take you to their recruiting profile (most likely ESPN if available). Click on "OFFER" or "INTEREST" (an indicator of whether Hofstra has offered a scholarship to the player or just expresed interest) and see their most recent youtube clips. [Currently this function is not working] as soon as I can figure out how to apply for this permission I will update with profiles and scouting videos.] Anyone who can point me in the direction as to who and how I go to for that permission, it is greatly appreciated.

Not that long actually. Took a good part of the day this past weekend. With three kids playing Lacrosse, this is the end of my busy season. League Play is over, now it's just sporadic camps. I really just reviewed that entire 3000 post thread and hit all of the major recruiting sites and cross referenced all day long. Half of the last thread as filled with a lot of nonsense that didn't involve recruits at all, hopefully there is less of that in this thread.
JOJO, AFAR and a few others really do a great job of identifying interest, offers, signings etc. I really just compiles most of their work. I'm excited about having all future recruits compiled in spot, it should be much easier to keep track of and know exactly what we are looking at.
Curious, since coaches are forbidden to talk about who they are looking at or recruiting, how do you obtain this information?.The only possibility is the recruits talking to various sites themselves which seems unlikely.
