You guys all read the release they put out yesterday, that's all there is on conference affiliation stuff.

Matt Brady wasn't there, Bob O'Driscoll filled in. Mainly introduced us to the incoming class and mentioned that we're starting the season at UCLA.

Kenny Brooks got up and talked about how proud he was of his team and how much they learned by playing in the NCAA tournament. He's still glowing over beating UVA, and they're supposed to be back on the schedule again next year. He expects us to be even more improved next year.

Mickey being Mickey said this is the best spring he's ever had. Did mention that we really only lose 4 players (2 O and 2 D), and that practically everyone returns. Was really, really high on Earl Watford. Someone aksed about Thorpe's 6th year and, while he hasn't heard back from the NCAA, he feels very confident that will go through.

No reason given for Brady not being there, and his replacement was less than stellar.

This has little to do with the conference situation and frustration surrounding it, but every time I see Jeff Bourne I dislike the guy even more. He comes off as an arrogant jerk…I always get a haughty holier-than-thou attitude from him.

i've been highly critical of Brady over the years, but to be frank jmu, you have bigger fish to fry right now. I say the guy gets a free pass right now since you have already let that opportunity pass you by just a few weeks ago.

you are way off base on Bourne...he's a pretty good guy.

Did you expect him to come to that last night after being in court and having to deal with all this realignment talk in a peachy mood? Frankly, I'm surprised he showed up at all.
