    Default Baseball Polls (4/30)

We received 6 votes in the USA Today poll, which means we had the 37th-most votes: http://www.usatoday.com/sports/colle...oll/52790710/1

We were also one of 21 schools who didn't make the NCBWA Top 30 but did receive vote(s): http://www.sportswriters.net/ncbwa/poll/

We were not ranked or mentioned as receiving votes in the Baseball America or Collegiate Baseball Newspaper polls.

SEBaseball.com will likely have their regional projections out tomorrow. Last week, they had us as a 3-seed in the Columbia, SC Regional along with South Carolina, Clemson, and SC Upstate: http://sebaseball.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1358458

    CollegeBaseballDaily.com ranked us # 20 in their Mid-Major poll:

    IN

    * UNCW (27-17) enter the rankings at #20. The Seahawks beat Elon 7-5 Wednesday and won 2 of 3 at Georgia St over the weekend. UNCW has won 11 of 13 and is 3 games up on 2nd place Hofstra in the Colonial.

We would be higher in these rankings if they didn't include Big 10 and Big East schools. I guess they are counted as "mid-major" for not being in traditionally strong baseball conferences.
