George Mason head coach Paul Hewitt is making a strong push for 2014 small forward Markell Lodge of Team Loaded. While the CAA school is the only one to offer him, Lodge holds strong interest from Notre Dame, Wake Forest, NC State, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, and even some from North Carolina. The rising junior has been on the George Mason campus and the Colonials are continuing their push as Hewitt was in the front row for the Team Loaded U16 game.

2014 Imhotep Charter/Team Philly (PA) small forward Basil Thompson took two unofficial visits this week. After tripping to Delaware, the first school to offer him, Thompson went to George Mason for a visit. An offer could come from the CAA school as early as next month. Penn State, Nebraska, Temple and St. Joseph's are also involved.

2014 St. John's/Team Takeover (DC) point guard Tre Campbell had a strong weekend. He holds offers from George Washington and Towson with interest from VCU, Cincinnati, Miami, Notre Damn, George Mason, Georgetown and Virginia. With visits under his belt to George Washington and George Mason, the rising junior believes that Miami and VCU are recruiting him the hardest at the moment.
