Hawks win game 2! I wish they could play game 3 today but they won't. It might be rained out tomorrow and the Hawks need every win they can get.

Good to sweep a twin bill - esp. the way we did. Great starting pitching. Two complete games giving up a total of five earned runs. Good job all around. Tightening the hold on the top spot!

Warren Nolan RPI is up to 48 now after the bad start to the year. These guys need to keep playing winning ball and let the chips fall.

Here's next year's class. Two of the guys have FB at 90 MPH so with Tart back, we should have enough depth to throw quality mid week hopefully. Hopefully Deloach sticks around for his senior year to add depth to Batts, Ramsey, and Tart. Holden has been lights out and could start, but you want him available for multiple outings. Secrest has also emerged and there's Lane for a different arm angle. Failed to mention Timoney, Prince or McDonald as they will be there too. Arms, arms and more arms! This year's ERA is sitting at 3.39 right now. Nice!!

I've heard that Connelly is very good at ss. Going to be hard to replace Pope and Cain and I hope that Molinaro and Ridge stay for their senior years.
