Cripes...who thinks any of those other 5 besides the Black with Tiger head logo is even close to worthy? Silver? Matte? WTF is that crap? Stop trying to be Oregon or the Twerps and just win games. This is beyond absurd.

I like the Flying T logo and the Matte Tiger Logo. I voted for the Flying T logo in black and gold.

As a side note, the football uniforms are not changing for 2012. That has been delayed for one year and when/if the design is modified it will not be drastic nor would it cost the department anything out of the normal replacement of uniforms, which takes place every 3-4 years in football and is budgeted for.

If the matte or silver options are selected the selection would not add any costs, as each helmet is reconditioned annually following spring practice. The color of the paint would not add to the cost of the process.

The T option is being presented as a result of listening to alumni and fans who have asked for a return to the T on the side of the helmet, which was the standard for many years. The old Block T would not match the current look, so the T from the word mark was extracted and put on the side of these prototype helmets as a means of showing what it would look like.

Other than the Black T helmet and the Black Circle T helmet these are the same looks as we presented last year in a similar process. If you have other ideas feel free to post here and we will consider for future development.

For anyone wondering, Ambrose's playing number was 6. Keep the same helmet. If you aren't going to go back to the iconic white T helmet, what we have are the next best option. Just my two cents.

Pretty cool. I voted Flying T on black. Would be cool to see the Black and Gold T on the white.

I'm shocked the tiger paw isn't on the list. Overall though, pretty cool to put this to a vote.
