Is it verified that Adams and Giergen are gone?

Yeah, there was a Sun article posted in the 2011-2012 recruiting thread which cited Jeff Goodman at CBS Sports. Also, if you read Goodman's linked piece, it mentions that Blail Dixon (Providence) is visiting Towson this week.

With 12 scholarship players on the roster, I wonder what Skerry & co. does with that last remaining 'ship. Could we bring in a 6th freshman? Or another B.E. transfer (there were rumors of a second Providence player a few months ago). Of perhaps a JUCO big man who can play right away?

I hate going the JUCO route, but 6 freshman in once class is a lot and means that there will be few scholarships available over the next few years. Skerry has done an excellent job of rebuilding the roster, but spacing out 'ships so they're not loaded in one particular class. It wouldn't surprise me if there are two or three more players brought in, especially if one is a transfer (and has to sit out) or Skerry decides to redshirt one of the freshman (Marshall?). Or maybe it would be prudent to hold the last remaining ship until next year?

I suppose we could get some answers tomorrow, when the late signing period beings.

I hope the new crew gets a chance to play together this summer in a league somewhere.

Matt would know better but its not as young and inexperienced as it seems. We do have 6 returning players if you include Benimon and Burwell who practiced with the team all last year. Hopefully, we can go "500".

I haven't confirmed who will be playing where but I assume a lot of the new guys will get here early in the summer to take some classes and get accustomed to the campus. Loyola has a summer league in July and last year Flash ws the only one who played. If they still have it, I assume several guys will be playing
