"I feel like we should have won," junior guard Troy Daniels said. "We had them right where we wanted them."
"It felt good," Brandenberg said. "It was on line. It was just short, just short."
"We didn't finish the game the right way," Burgess said.
"I think our guys fought and gave their hearts and soul," said VCU coach Shaka Smart. "I've never been around a team that is more committed and bought into following the plan.

"Tonight it wasn't enough. All the credit for that goes to Indiana. They made some terrific plays down the stretch and we missed some shots that we certainly would take again. It really hurts. It's something that's going to sting for a long time, but there's no going back now."
