With the A-10 clearly in decline, would other CAA schools accept an invite to join the A-10? Would ODU? Or would we potentially join one of the various FBS conference. Honestly, the timing of the new TV deal, plus "talks" of the CAA becoming a home for Coastal Carolina (yuck) it's coming across as a last ditch effort for Yeager to keep things afloat.
This is all speculation, but I would hope our administration is fully considering all opportunities to upgrade from our current conference and whatever brings the most money and exposure.
Charlotte should accept the invitation. Who cares if they haven't played one down. It's the market that matters not the quality of the product.
Our administration is being too tight lipped about conference realignment. We haven't heard next to anything. Not even a clue about their plans. JMU's AD Bourn has been much more talkative than Wood.
