That's the whole thing I don't get. MTSU gets in as an at-large bid, we beat them in the regular season and have a rpi that is higher than them and yet we get snubbed. This just goes to show that rpi is not a factor in selecting teams that will be in the NCAAT.

i don't know how i feel about kenny brooks saying smh lol. yep we got the biggest snub of any team in D1, equal to the snub Drexel got in the Men's tourney. There's at least 3 teams in that field that are less deserving then we are. The difference is that the NCAA favors some "better known" conferences over the CAA. Big 12 and Sun Belt.

I love Kenny. He's the man. But I still don't think we deserved a spot in the field this year. There are certainly some teams that made it that we should have gotten the nod over, but there are equally some teams that would be in line before us, IMO.

Drexel and VCU also made it in. The only thing I don't get is why they put us all on the same side. If we win, we will either play Charlotte or Wake Forest. The game will be a home game set for March 15. Get ready folks and let's see what these girls are made of!

Hofstra and UNCW also made it, and all of the CAA teams are on the same side of the brackets...meaning only one CAA team could make the finals.
And there's no reason this LDs team can't be playing for the championship if they get their heads on straight and play to their potential.
