    Thank you Dolley....I agree completely. Rather than fight over the definition of a bad loss (and I admit completely that I started that last week and should not have done so), let's focus on supporting the women through the next couple of weeks of regular play and through the tournament.

    I rarely agree with Dolley about anything, but I was just thinking about the NIT scenario. While the NCAA is obviously the more prestigious tournament, we would likely be looking at a 12 or 13 seed if we get in, and a first round loss. If we end up in the NIT, we're likely to get a home game or two (this isn't football, right?) and have a much better shot for some wins. For a young team, the idea is to play winnable games and get them that experience of playing together. All that said, if we don't win the auto-bid, I'd almost rather end up in the NIT instead of the NCAA.

    By their standards any conference loss is a bad loss at this point. They're 9th in the nation.
