At least 4. Burwell will start at the 2 or 3 and Benimon at the 4. That's a given. Hairston probably at the 1 or 2. Mason could start at the 1 or 2 if he's ready. After that, they could use another wing and big. Not sure that Alston will be ready to start at center.

    Matt,

Next year is a key year for us to win 10-15 games. Skerry is still not proven as a head coach so its hard to know what to expect of his teams.
You may have a feel having watched him coach some games this year.

    From Alex Kline @TheRecruitScoop
Towson has offered Davon Reed, a 2013 guard from Princeton Day (NJ).

    Any info on this kid?

Ummm, if they got him he'd arguably be their biggest get yet. Rated 4* on ESPN and on their Super 60 list.

Quick Google search returns this: http://espn.go.com/college-sports/ba...785/davon-reed

BIG kid for a guard. 6-5, even though he's just 175. Needs to hit the weights. I'm 5-9 170 and people tell me I'm skinny.

Has a bunch of offers including Big East and A-10 schools. VCU offered.

So sounds like a stretch if he chooses us. This Alex Kline @TheRecruitScoop is a 17 year old kid. SI did a story about him not too long ago on how he has become the goto person from coaches to fans in terms who basketball recruit info. Pretty interesting story.

Wow if we got him. One would assume he's relatively intelligent too considering he has offers from Harvard and Northwestern.

Not thrilled going back to juco ranks but this guy might be worth it. Already averaged 7.5ppg and 5.6rebounds with High Point as a freshman. Explosive 6-6, 210-pound athletic 4/3 man.

    Mat,

I can rationalize going back to JUCOs for two reasons. 1) Pure talent that will have an instant impact and add W's to the record. 2) Skerry is looking at a young, inexperienced squad and doesn't want to go into the season with a roster full of 18-year-olds again.

Just how young are we going to be, though? Sure, we have a great frosh class coming in, but with our other two transfers that have been with the team for a year waiting for their chance, I don't think we'd be without leadership from upper classmen.
