Four game suspension? There must have been some serious violations. And those are some critical loses especially at QB. Olufemi Opanubi leaving the team is blow as he was important. I don’t like seeing Jackson leaving. I hadn’t given up on him yet. So a promising second season is looking pretty bleak.

Clark Atlanta – Well, CAU’s chances have improved significantly. Bo Schlechter is inexperienced at QB and was 4th string last year at best. Kelton Hill pretty much runs the wildcat so he’d better improve his pass attack. I’ll give GSU the win but they’ll say GSU escaped with a win.

ODU – GSU’s chances were iffy to begin with so I’d say they are gone now.

JSU - A road game is tough enough but add to that it’s JSU.

Houston – GSU didn’t have a chance but now this could be really bad.

The rest of the season is Murray State, South Carolina State, South Alabama, UTSA, Lambuth, West Alabama, and Campbell.

I’m unsure our returning players will be ready when GSU plays Murray State and South Alabama will be a bad homecoming game. If nothing else bad happens, GSU might be up to speed in time for Lambuth. But I could see GSU losing 4 straight and salvaging the season with the last 3. I’m just glad that Lambuth game isn’t under that 4 game suspension. Funny but Lambuth an important game to win. Got to get that monkey off our back. I’m just worried that Lambuth’s game matches up well against GSU’s weaknesses.

So GSU could end up

Bo is coming back in at quarterback and he was pretty good. Very athletic and hard working. It is possible that it will not be that bad.

Good riddance. Remmeber I told you guys in Nov there would be a purge? Plus Kelton Hill took over the last 4 games. Its up to him this offseason to become teh QB we think he can be

Agreed. If KH improves this off season as he did in last off season he should be a very good all around QB. I personally love running QB's when they do not run too much. It gives defenses more things to think about and more options the offense has the more the defense can make incorrect decisions.

I appreciate guys who make mistakes then bounce back and make no excuses. It couldn't have helped his status when he had to sit for a couple/few games. The old school football players used to play through significant injuries because they didn't want to give another player a shot at their position. Good luck to Drew.

One of the most telling things to me was seeing Drew on the sidelines and after games when other QBs had success. Good luck to him but he's not a team guy at all.
