IMO we have seen all Delancey has. I'd like to see Hicks or Key challenge him for those minutes.

I didn't think that Ross could play SG or SF right now, he probably doesn't have the ballhandling skills to be compared to Finney.

I'm intrigued by Batten, he has the chance to be a unique player here.

Batten and Ross are redshirting. Batten is a 2 who from what I've read can play the point. Ross is 6-foot-8 and freakishly athletic. I presume his natural position is 3 but could probably handle being an athletic 4, a la Andre McCollum.

In addition to Hill we've signed Breon Key, who's a PG, and Pimental, who's a 4/5. When Key verballed to Old Dominion, his coach likened him to Ben Finney but a couple inches shorter. If he's anything like Finney, we've got ourselves a good kid.

6"8? Thought Ross was closer to 6"6 and is a natural 3.

Split the difference with you - officially listed at 6-7. http://www.odusports.com/sports/m-ba...richard00.html

I agree he'd be a natural 3, but depending on the lineup BT uses, I couldd imagine him as a 4.

He seems like he could defend the three, and rebound at any position. Can he handle the ball and shoot from the outside like a natural three?

Just got home from watching Key's team beat Keoughtan. He didn't have the strongest offensive game tonight (4 or 6pts), had 21pts Tues night. Tonight he played good defense on the open floor had about 4 or 5 steals and had at less 4 blocks. Not as strong going to the rim tonight, with his scoring or rebounding. I think of Key more like a Brandon Johnson, but taller 6-3 and can get above the rim with ease. Good HS PG, he did have some silly TOs tonight trying to make behind the back passes in traffic or forcing the ball inside. A redshirt year would help his game.

He will be a beast in several years after a redshirt. Will he have Charles Jenkins type size? Key and Batten are going to make for a physical backcourt.

Ross is 6'6&1/2" according to what coach Corrigan said at the basketball breakfast two weeks ago.
