Last I checked(2008), there was also a club rugby team.

I haven't heard that we have a women's hockey team. The men's club hockey team plays at the ice rink on the Charlottesville downtown mall. That is the closest ice rink to Harrisonburg. "Home" games are played in Cville.
I don't know where to put this without starting a new thread, but as I watch sportscenter each day, it warms my heart knowing Lindsay Czarniak is a JMU alum. Does anyone know her or know if she stays in support of the school in any way? I don't recall ever seeing her in person.
Interesting comments from Yeager stating that basketball brings in more exposure than FCS football. In other words you will not be nationally recognized by playing FCS football. http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/bs-sp-caa-towson-0712-20120711,0,445907.story?track=rss

Is Kenny allowed to coach both the men's and the women's team?

Thanks! I'd love to checkout a home game sometime.
While that is true, if Yeager is really trying to convince teams that it is best to stay in an FCS league, saying things like that isn't the best way to do it.Interesting comments from Yeager stating that basketball brings in more exposure than FCS football. she was a WUSA CBS anchor in DC prior to her current position with ESPN. She must have lived in the DC area for most of her career. I meant it more as, does anyone see her go to football games from time to time? She may have the "Big time sports" BS drilled into her mind by the ESPN cronies, so I doubt she'd check out bridgeforth :P
Based on the below Breeze article, it sounds like she was a JMU sports follower when she was a student. She did Tweet a good luck message to the JMU Women's team last year during their WNIT run.

She grew up in Centreville and went to Centreville HS. Her parents still live there, I believe. She was the NBC anchor for several years. I ran into her at a GMU hoops game. She is a big JMU fan but only has so much opportunity to talk JMU in her profession. When she was here in DC she covered the market. Glad to see she is doing well on SC. I think she got married recently or is getting married soon.
Sell this thing out! Godwin side = another year of Stadium cam!
