I have been fortunate to have been on the road and been able to have some perspective on the results of all this and all the idiotic responses from some people who have shown the maturity of a teenage school girl. I will summarize my points in simple bullets for the brain impaired.

1.) While we will never know if we actually had an invite - there are a lot of assumptions that we were - with no evidence.

2.) I can guarantee that there was a lot more thought put into this decision than anyone here will know. Someone brought up that how we would fund the tennis team going to St. Louis and other places - they were speaking truth. That would take money away from the basketball program. And that dynamic would be for all of our sports.

3.) The A-10 is NOT that much of an upgrade - if at all. Take away Xavier and one other - what have you got? They have as many if not more bottom feeders as the CAA. The only advantage they have - and its a recent one - is more at large bids. However, they will not always continue to get this - it has been based on recent success.

4.) All this talk about A-10's T.V. deal - really how often have you seen an A-10 team on tv? Really? I have seen very few and the A-10 basketball visibility is almost nil.

5.) I cannot stand all this talk about VCU being better than us because they went to the A-10. Really? Is VCU going to get a real campus not stuck in Richmond? Is it going to be anything other than an art school? I don't see the conference affiliation making them better. Regardless of conference affiliation - we will still go to the Pat Dome to watch the team. We will still be good.

6.) We don't know if the A-10 will the stay the way it is. Given the overall conference instability - the A-10 could evaporate real quick. If Xavier and Dayton leaves - then they are less than the CAA.

7.) For all those schmucks talking about withholding donations - you are idiots. So you are no longer fans and will support the University? Good - get the **** out. I will take your seats. Geez - you are pussies who need to get the sand out of your vaginas. Maybe you should go cheer VCU in the dump of Richmond.
