They have a "gentleman's farm" in Fairmont, WV, just 21 miles and 32 minutes south of the football stadium. Fairmont is the place to stay if you're looking for a hotel and can't seem to find one in Morgantown. I saw my sister-in-law this past weekend (she's already talking sh!t) and she advised that rooms around gameday are hard to find in Morgantown. Luckily, you have me, your friendly travel agent.

These are the places to stay, rank ordered. I've already checked for room availability 8/30 - 09/1.

1) Holiday Inn Express Fairmont: $145/night
2) Clarion Inn Fairmont: $140/night
3) Fairfield Inn & Suites Fairmont: $184/night

Each hotel has lots of rooms available, 2 Tribe fans per room and includes breakfast. These are basic rates so check for yourself if AAA, AARP, senior or GOV discounts apply to you.

If you want to stay in Morgantown, try these (rank-ordered). I checked and rooms are still available.

1) Springhill Suites Morgantown: $200/night (.33 miles from the stadium)
2) Microtel Inn & Suites Morgantown: $180/night (not within walking distance)
3) Euro-Suites Hotel Morgantown: $275/night (.39 miles from the stadium)
4) Hilton Garden Inn Morgantown: $270/night advanced purchase (.67 miles from the stadium)

If you're not traveling with children, can handle yourself, have bail money, and/or your auto insurance deductible is low, Morgantown may be fun. Reeves, from McDonough, Ga., has three seasons of eligibility remaining after redshirting as a freshman in 2011 and then playing in 10 games as a reserve wide receiver and on special teams last season.


The 6-foot-3, 209-pound Reeves was ranked as the No. 29 tight end in the country by Rivals and No. 35 by ESPN.com/Scout Inc. as a senior at Eagles Landing Christian Academy in 2010.
