But I'm afraid you're likely gonna find us all a-holes, because if you read these boards we love our recruits (and are proud to admit as much), believe we have the best coach in the conference (most titles and post-season appearances), and, yes, feel our program is the best in the CAA.

To all you ODU people, Mason's got some perfectly decent fans, but if you're constantly going to berate them and name-call like little second graders, then yes, they're going to be arseholes.

And to you Mason people, ODU fans are pretty much just like you guys. They support their school and can't realize that another school has a decent team.

I personally like fans who have a good basketball IQ and can appreciate a good game regardless of who's playing it, and who actually stay within the game. If you're too worried about what other people are doing or saying, and it's not action going on on the court, then you're not being a very good fan for your school or anyone else.

LOL, S-Curl, if you grew up in P-Dub, you'd understand why that post was like that. He came from Gar-Field which is like a slice of Norfolk right here in Northern VA. :D

Mason and ODU, very similar in some aspects. Am I the only one that has ever heard Mason called the ODU of the north, we both get called commuter schools and we've both been making progress away from that. Mason is adding 500 residents a year, I know ODU is building all those nice apartments by the Ted. Academic wise there could be some differences but academically Mason isn't competing with ODU, no offense. Mason is one alot of the top lists in the country across the board, i could ramble on about that but trust me academically Mason isn't in competion with ODU.

Both Mason and ODU fans love their programs and have their problems within them, Mason has poor but getting better student turnout and ODU men have always been struggling from the shadows of the women. Both schools have great futures and should make for some great basketball in the next few years.
