The following awards were given out at the men's basketball dinner last night:

MVP - Kenny Adeleke
Student Athlete Award - Marc Petit (finishing up his master's degree in education)
Most Improved Award - Woody Souffrant
Attitude Club Award (most "hustle" stats) - Adeleke
Butch van Breda Kolff Award - Mike Radziejewski
Hofstra Basketball Award - Rick Apodaca

Congratulations to the graduating seniors: Lars Grubler (planning to continue his hoops career in Germany), Osei Millar (funniest speech of the night), Marc Petit, and Rick Apodaca.

Jojo-Did you get to speak to anyone re new recruits ?
Would also like to extend congrats to Marc Petit-not much of a career but
came in as Prop 48-comes out with Masters. Also to Woody who easily
was most improved in my eyes-shows hard work pays off!

Yes agreed Z-man. While we have bashed Marc in the past for his game, it is nice to see true student athletes like Marc and Lars in the same mold as Jason Hernandez and Abdul Sylla.
