ST. LOUIS -- The St. Louis Rams agreed to terms with four rookie free agents, the team announced today: QB Kirk Farmer of Missouri, WR Steve Battle of Valley City (North Dakota) St., and RBs Arlen Harris of Hofstra and Joffrey Reynolds of Houston.
Harris, 5-10, 212, rushed 147 times for 581 yards and two touchdowns in three seasons at Virginia. Harris, who transferred to Hofstra, did not play for the Flying Dutchman in 2002 due to problems with his transfer from Virginia

sweet... now HE is pro material. an interchangeable backfield with him and faulk would be thunder and lightning.
Good for him!
And nice to see the press release use the PROPER nickname. ;)

Even though it says "Hofstra" next to his name, I don't really feel like he's a Hofstra guy

Joey I know how you feel. I had the pleasure of meeting Arlen his wife and baby daughter. He did graduate from Hofstra with his degree. Unfortunately he did not get a chance to play. If he wants to use Hofstra as his alma mater that is fine with me.
With that said...Hofstra should be used, that's what his degree says on it...(That bland degree with the same font throughout.)

Hofstra degrees are awful. I should have gone to a more prestigious institution such as Duke or Syracuse. I will never be able to get a job in the real world.

Umm...that University of Virginia degree would have looked pretty good for Mr. Harris.
I can't believe you just put Syracuse and Duke in the same sentance.
