Para,

I was hoping one of our media outlets would see your post, pick it up and run with it. We (I) haven't heard a word since the PIT. Maybe he's back in class and getting busy with the exams. He is scheduled to graduate from what I heard.

I spoke with Brett last week (Thursday) about what he has been up to, and basically he has just been working out here in town.

He is not going to play in the USBL and is still up in the air as to the Chicago camp leading up to the Draft. He did have a good workout with Toronto and had generally positive feedback. As for the Draft itself, Brett may or may not stay in town and could go back to Tallahassee to be with family. He has told me that if he hears there is a good chance that he would be drafted he may consider going to NY, but doesn't want to sit there and go undrafted.

I also spoke with Craig on Friday, he is planning on attending the VCU camp in and will then travel to Italy for the Treviso camp the 26th-30th. He is hopeful that a coach will make an offer on site, which is what he was told generally happens in the European leagues. Craig said that the NBA was not his focus and that he has not heard from anyone. He just wants to keep his career in motion and believes his game is best suited for Europe right now. He is still talking to agents.

thanks bob, er I mean wect. that was exactly the kind of information I was looking for. Paranoia, that post should answer your question and more. WECT, I'm sure Hawk fans would appreciate alot more post like your last one to keep us updated on the program and its players. I realize all of your information is not worthy of TV news, but you have alot of fans who visit this medium who like to stay well informed.
...Again, thanks for the info.

I make a good effort to keep up with CAA and ex-CAA players..........you know....hoping if their basketball career doesn't pan out they have other avenues to explore.

I did see Craig Callahan on the list for the VCU Showcase Invitational. It looks like a decent field and from the list, Craig should perform extremely well. I will be at the first games on that Sunday so I would be glad to tell you how he performed.

Thanks for the update WECT. I guess when the NBA Draft heats up, Brett will get more calls and tryouts and I wish him the best of luck.
