With the Upenn game less than 3 weeks away we need to start thinking about a roll-out. Any thoughts? I have a list but looking back they kinda suck. My personal fave so far:

Looks like somone got lost on their way to the library.

or something like "U got nothing left"

just a couple to get the ball rolling...

I've been to many Ivy League games and I always liked when other schools rolled out "Penn: Ivy League Safety School".

But I am not sure if that would work in this case considering it is at least 5x as hard to get into Penn than Drexel....maybe less.

But it is by far the easiest Ivy to get into. We should make fun of that.

Yeah, I'm not sure we should tackle anything about academics unless we are making fun of them for studying or something like that.

Best in the Ivy League, runner-up on 33rd Street.

or my personal fave so far...

We tried to schedule Princeton, Penn was our safetey school.

I like that HH.

The only other idea that I have is to bring up the motor-oil incident that happened a year ago when they tried to light a few Princeton students on fire...

Other than that I am out of ideas for now.

I'm not sure if Princeton does rollouts, but if so I'm sure they've already done one similar to that.

I think the Princeton was is funny, but just seems kind of stupid coming from us. Plus the whole safety school thing has been done a million times.

How about this one since you guys like to attack I-AA football.

"Ivy League Athletics, about as useful as I-AA football."

Not Rollouts exactly but still some penn Jokes.

How many Penn students does it take to change a lightbulb?
Only one, but he gets six credits for it.

How many Penn students does it take to change a lightbulb?
Two -- One to change the lightbulb and one to crack under the pressure.

How many Penn students does it take to change a lightbulb?
One -- he holds the bulb and the world revolves around him.

DrexelTim is out for blood today. F the ticket lady, she won't pulll that crap this year. Shoudl be lots of tickets chants yelled in her direction. FOTY, we could have used that idea for last year with UD: Mo Sessoms, as useful as I-AA football. That's a double burn.

I like the one about the trust fund. We should have one for after we win,

Whoa. Drexel fans are rough :)

What about while you guys are ahead 15 points, say something like "What's wrong, Penn? Ran out of ink?"

It may sound wack, but hey, I had to get in on this :) Plus I laughed at it.. 8)

How about after we do a really good play we say, "If Penn is such a good college, how come we just took you to school?!?"

Or maybe, "We have less gunpoint robberies on campus than you do!"

But I dunno about that last one

I agree that the Safety School line is tired and unoriginal.
And I think ive seen the lightbulb ones before on a website for Princeton

I DO like the Daddys trustfund...wheres that credit goin too?

If all else fails lets just say "Puck Fenn" and throw a yamaca on...have you seen these kids?!

DUFUNNY,
Been a longtime viewer of the CAA boards, just never posted. Now that Ive got some free time and can attend more games, and the DAC PACK is well established, I figured it was time i posted. Ya know, make some contributions.

Are you a DAC PACK memebr?

Halftime Hero
11-11-2003, 03:12 PM
the DUDE is a half-assed dac pack member, says he'll go to some games then never shows, we'll see if he can live up to the hype this year now that we're becoming ever more "popular" haha...

DU Dude

Im the Dude, man, just call me the dude...

And HH, I WILL be making it to as many games as possible this year. Granted times in the past permitted me, as well as class, from attending. This year ill be skipping more to attend the games. Im sure Miss Hero doesnt appreciate you missing classes for games...but we wont go there. This board is for basketball.

I, much like many of you, have a grudge against UD. One could say mine is more personal. I also dispise UPENN and, until recently, invested interests in whoopin up on Towson.

So I am very eager to kick this season off. And I will be in the crowd with my yellow shirt on, cheering on the Dragons.

Hey all, yeah I'm a freshamn this year but I've always been a big college basketball fan so I decided to check out the DAC Pack. I went to the 1st half of the blue/white scrimage and should be able to make the exhibition game next week.
In addition to that I am from right outside (like 5 minutes driving) of Towson, so I know how bad that school is at b-ball and hope we can pound them this year.
The funniest thing is on local TV they always had commercials last year for Towson basketball trying to get people to buy tickets, and their main catch line was "watch as the Tigers fight their way to the top of the CAA!" even when they had one conferance win towards the end of the season, so I always got a laugh at that.

Dragon Wagon: Welcome to Drexel and the boards. To answer your question, Towson is not good.

The best atmosphere in college hoops is a packed palestra, make sure you check it out and a close second is a packed DAC (or PEAC for us Alums) - no excuses to miss any games there.

Good to see some new faces posting on the board. I can't wait for the season to kick off. The blue/gold scrimmage got me ready for some bball.
Hope to see the new guys at the games.
