Winstonn Tubbs

I don't know if this is old news or not, but Hoop Scoop is reporting that Winstonn Tubbs signed with Towson. He's a 6'8" forward from Georgia.

I guess I subscribe to the wrong services. This one is out of left field, if it's true. Tubbs appears to be a power forward, which we already have three of. Maybe he's more talented than the others. I guess the 5/4 rule only applies to next season, although we only have 1 senior (Gilchrist). Of course, Georgia makes sense. Stephen Warner is from there and Hunt coached there.

Now I'm reading that Tubbs is 6-7, 270 pounds. Hard to tell body type from the pictures, but we desperately need somebody of that size. He also was a pretty solid prospect in Georgia.
