Soccer!!!

I must admit, I rarely go to ODU sports other than hoops (men and women) and baseball. However, I am going out next Friday night to support the #6 Monarchs (5-0) against #2 Wake Forest.

My wife and I will be there. Will you?

Ironically, ODU was supposed to play Wake at W&M as part of some tournament. But the tourney was moved to ODU. I bet Wake wasn't too happy about that. :D

Wake knocked ODU out of the NCAA tourney last year 1-0, so ODU will be looking for revenge.

No reason why any local ODU fan should miss this game. Go out and support our highly ranked team!!! I only hope that in the future, one of my unpredictable occasional visits to the area will coincide with one these games. Go Monarchs!!!

Well the hurricane might cause some chaos in the region, but if it passes us by then I expect a great turn out for the game. I definetly want to check out this team, especially since no one has even scored a goal on them yet!
