I don't know what if anything pre-season games portend, but this pre-season has been Gannon's worse since he became a pro. He has been off in every game. If last night's shellacking from the Fat Boy's team is typical of what Oakland has in the tank; I'd hate to be a Raider fan. Father time looks very much like it has caught up with Oakland.

I am a Raider fan and I am not worried. Here's why:

The Raiders, if I remember correctly, were 0-4 last preseason.

The team has not installed any of its complex schemes on either side of the ball this preseason, so the other teams have not really seen the true Raiders' O or D.

Once the team's practices focus on one team and game strategies on a week to week basis, their consistency will improve exponentially. Also, improving the teams execution will be the setting of positions and rotations, which will improve play by repetition and continuity, i.e. the OL.

Lastly, it's preseason.

Gannon played a total of 5 snaps last night. Hardly anything to get concerned over.
