Cotton Eyed Joe was also played at an outdoor concert this past July 4th by an Irish group. It was televised on PBS.

OLDerthaniam58HAWK - I saw it also. It was held on the grounds of the U.S. Capitol.

It is quite apparent that we have the only history prof in the country who thinks "Cotton Eyed Joe" is racial. Aren't we lucky to have such an astute member of our faculty? And to have spineless admins to allow such an idiot to dictate whats right for the masses?
