Gentlemen, the sadness set right in last night after deep reflection on the upcoming 1-AA football season. Even after weeks of contemplation, it has yet to escape me. The fact that my beloved Dukes will not play the one program I admire even more then my own alma mater's... that of the Blue Hens.

Godspeed UD peoples, and we'll meet again on the gridiron next next year. Until then, I hoist a frosty beverage into the air for ya and remember... beat W&M! 8)

BTW, what in the hell is "AstraZeneca Day!" :?

Yeah, it just isn't right. Don't fear tho', in the near future JMU and UD will play in a football league that will require them to play every season. Better days are ahead.

How about a game in the quarters, semis, or finals, THIS year?

Keep the faith!

JMU would have events like AstraZeneca Day as well if multi-billion dollar pharmacuetical companies had their U.S. headquarters in Harrisonburg.

Maybe we can schedule a Rocco Chicken Day?

I think I'm gonna hurl......You can have our date with the Chickens if you want. Sounds kinda like Maine not playing Northeastern last year. It was pretty lame scheduling in hindsight considering the teams were declared co-champs of the A-10 and may never make the 1-AA playoffs in the same season ever again.

There are schools that care about their rivalries...

You too will find a school that cares about scheduling Maine every year as well Jeffy-poo...even if they are north of the border!

Has the America Least put together a football conference yet?
