Problem. RAshed McCants... answer Tynes?
Problem Sean May ... answer Lewis and a buffet set up courtside to distract May.
Problem... Felton... ugh..too many problems? anyone else want to breakdown this match up?

UNC is talented, but beatable. If your frontcourt can hold their own, you have a shot. McCants is tough, but sometimes plays weak D. Felton is awesome, but you should have enough in your backcourt to hold your own their. It will be a close game, IMO.

You guys are crazy. Roy Williams coaches this talent now.

It'll be a blowout

UNC 95 GMU 71

the good thing is we play maryland first. A team we are sort of used to playing. However, the tar heel blue may cause some nervesness, but overall its a wine and cheese crowd.

I think we match up better with this team than any other we have put on the court in the last 5 years....

but still, DD is right... UNC + Williams = UNC over GMU by 15 at least. Maybe we get lucky with an early injury on their side, or an off night of shooting by the heels.

Man oh man, nooooo chance. McCants is too strong in the backcourt. I guess if the scramble D can get in Felton's grill, force him to give it up early and get them out of their flow...

May is formidable but beatable, and they'll still be a bit thin up front. Felton, McCants, and Co. may just be too much though...

UNC by 20, but I suppose there's a shot any given day...

I really like UNC but they aren't that tough. McCants is inconsistent and Felton is the only real stud out there. May is very good underneath and he's got really athletic help on the wings with Manual and Noel. Yes, they will likely be a top 15 team and one of the top 2 in the ACC but GMU has a shot. Don't be that surprised if this is a close game...I'm not counting out my Hawks when we get them in Myrtle. It will be fun to see the new and improved Heels with Roy no matter what. A strong UNC hoops team brings sanity back to college hoops and makes it even better when you can give em a real tussle.
