If any of you can spare a couple quick seconds, I could REALLY use your help!
A little background... my band Supermack was selected of out 150 DC area bands to play in the "Road to Rolling Rock Town Fair" battle of the bands contest, held at the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown DC. We played against two other bands in early June and won our first round battle, and played last Thursday in the DC Finals... and won again against two really talented bands by crowd vote. This is a process that started over a month ago.
Now, we move on as one of 18 bands from each of the Hard Rock Cafe's across the Nation to an online vote to ultimately determine which two bands get to play in Pittsburgh at the end of July.
Obviously, this is important to us. Last year's winner of the same contest was signed to Virgin Records and are on their way to making it big. It's also not every day that you get the shot to play in front of 50,000 fans at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh.
So, I know you guys are probably tired of me asking... but your help with a vote and spreading the word about this to ANYONE who likes rock music is appreciated even more than you know.
