More on our OCC schedule. A road trip that starts at Northeastern West Kentucky State and follows with Our Lady of Perpetual Motion and ends with Nowhere State.

Can someone put the damn schedule up-board is filled with sooo much
junk.
zman,
I thought you knew everyone and had insiders over there. Why don't you post it?

I do-haven't been in touch for awhile-point of fact is I posted OOC Games
months ago-thought maybe there were some revisions and I could save
time just reading them since apparently Justin knows them. Rob-thanks for flattery no matter how sarcastic-know a couple people just felt too early to be bothering them-do enough from Sept to March
Dontcha know, Justin will never post anything said or reported on The Locker Room, since he wants everyone to listen to the show.
Since nobody around here has posted either a recap of the show or the BB schedule, I'm assuming nobody listened this week. ;)

I for one did not-only because I forgot-got involved with SA-NJ. Actually
went to site for possible archived broadcast-none available

Justin-Regarding our conversation at Hofstra-Siena scrimmage This is probably one of those reasons why...I'll make my call tomorrow thanks!

z-man, please check your private messages. thanks.
Justin, you make me NOT want to listen to your show. Way to endear yourself with the few listeners you have. Be a sport and post the schedule, and you can give more details on the air.
Hopefully, the university will post the full schedule soon...usually they are pretty good about timely announcements.

I promise I will post the schedule after Sunday's show but if anyone tunes in, then you can definitely post before me.
If anyone would like my reasons for not posting the schedule until Sunday, please PM me.
I thought the schedule was announced on LAST sunday's show? :?:

Maybe it's a bit of a bait-and-switch. Way to lose the three guys in Mineola that actually listen.

They only mentioned the two games I posted. I'm surprised no one is even talking about the Maryland game. On the GMU board, EVERYONE was breaking down match-ups, analyzing....come on, HU fans!! Let's be productive :) :) :)
Justin, check ur PM.

OK, I'll start:
We're gonna get our asses kicked by Maryland.
Prediction: UMD 98, HU 47.
Is that a half-time prediction? :)

Tune into WRHU so you can hear the basketball schedule!
Yeah...just like tuning in to hear Pat Dosh's decision. Sounds like a lame attempt to jack up ratings!!:)

Tune in so you can hear the latests technological advances to rebuild the NASA space program.
...oh, wait, instead, we're going to go over the cleanest trashcans in Queens.

You guys shouldn't need the release of a basketball schedule to listen because there is so much great discussion, interviews and highlites on the show every week, even in the summer. It should be heaven for all you die hard Hofstra and CAA fans. There is not much going on Sunday nights so listening to Locker Room 8 to 9 sundays should become almost like a religous ritual. The people on the show work extremly hard and deserve your support. If you aren't tuning in you are missing out on a bundle of information.
So then post a recap for us every week.
Some of us have other things we do at 8:00 like put kids to bed and stuff, but Justin is guarding what happens on the show like it's the freaking security codes to our nukes.
If you post a recap and people see what they're missing, maybe they'll listen.

LOL..you guys crack me up :)
HofstraAndrew, how much is Justin paying you :) (joking)..
Nah, I listened to a little of it online (what was not buffered play) and it was a nice show with professional guys. I would listen to it if I didn't have plans on Sunday nights.
How can you put a college radio show on at the same time as the Simpsons and expect people to listen??
And is Justin the ONLY person in the world with a copy of the schedule???
Come on guys...if you REALLY want to see the schedule without listening to the show, I'm SURE that there are better ways to get it.

Justin on Sundays I am down at the beach with my family. We usually get back around 9pm. I will listen in the car but even then I will probably miss part of the show. Once football season starts though i will be a avid listener.

So have we heard when the Hofstra Up In Smoke Tour will hit Newark, Delaware?
If I remember correctly Deleware got smoked by Hofstra twice last year.
Oh yeah, there was also the 2000and 2001 AE finals!

Wow, bottom feeder smack...
Is it football season yet?
I promise I will post the schedule after Sunday's show

After lockerroom, we have a post mortem where we go over the show. Then I was getting ready for the NBA Draft preview show we did from 11 pm-1 am.

...yet the schedule STILL is not POSTED. Some of us aren't on LI and don't have the time to deal with the buffered play..
nearly 12 hours later...still waiting...
Did anyone actually LISTEN to the show and write the schedule down???

I created a new thread for the schedule announced on WRHU last night to keep it on the first page:

I think most of were looking for the complete schedule, not just the non-conference games...
TJ Reaper

That really upsets me. A UD fan (whose school does not know anything about their schedule) complaining about Hofstra's schedule. What is so important about knowing the conference schedule right now? It is not like we are playing divisional basketball. We play everyone twice. That's it. Ta daa. I think it's great that Hofstra knows their entire OOC schedule when a lot of the schools don't know anything at all. Be grateful. And stop complaining.
Double Amen VCU Jainez.
And I will add on to his post about the conference schedule. Following the two games against everyone else in the conference, Hofstra will take part in the conference tournament.
I think we we're all just having a little fun at Justin's expense...no big deal...and he certainly doesn't owe anything to the posters on this board.
In general he does a nice job.
AbsolutBlueHen
06-23-2003, 11:37 PM
VCU, I was looking for specific dates. (i.e. when UD travels to Hempstead) Nope, he doesn't owe anybody anything, but you should post the schedule when you claim to have it.
TJ Reaper
06-24-2003, 12:16 AM
Trust me. He did have it when he said he had it. Like he said, when he came to post it, someone else beat him to it. He had a special show from 11-1am (?) so he couldn't post it until then. If you would've listened to the show (which is what he wanted people to do), you would've found out sooner. Plus, in the beginning, he did not claim to have the ENIRE schedule, just the OOC schedule. Even if he said "schedule" without OOC, of COURSE you would assume he means OOC. The only CAA school with any conference games set yet is VCU (check VCU board). Boy, we have some good inside people :) but this should be the end of it...the schedule is posted, be happy and discuss the future games HU is facing. :P
