With all the repercussions and bad rep the UGA program is going to get over the next few years, I think there is a chance that some metro Atlanta high school prospects might be turned our way, especially when you consider we'll be in the CAA.

Here is the latest ESPN story on UGA probations.

Good question. If we were already a respected CAA participant, I would say this might help us. With two more years left in far less distinguished A-Sun, I don't think their typical recruits will be the same as ours.

Remember back when Adams banned UGAg from playing in the SEC and NCAA Tournament? Remember how Vitale, all of the local media, and the majority of the talking heads said that it was a crime and a travesty against those players?

Sure seems odd that the NCAA would decide not to ban UGAg from post-season play this season (or any upcoming) mostly due to the fact that they ALREADY DID IT TO THEMSELVES THAT YEAR. Unbeliveable! The team with the offending players had to sit out, and it turns out that Adams did the right thing doing it.

Of course these violations happened under the watch of Vince Dooley, who I belive received an award before his retirement calling him "Greatest Athletic Director in the History of Mankind."
