Mason wins 12-11 with a bottom of the ninth single to break a 11-11 tie. The win was a come from behind victory over the midshipmen as Mason fell behind 6-2 early but came back in the forth. They again had to rally in the 8th and 9th to win the game. The Patriots are now 29-11 and continue caa action this weekend up in towson.

don't know if i'd exactly call that game a pitchers duel

one has to wonder what has happened to Glanzeman - - - giving up runs left and right during mid-week games

great come from behind win for the team - - - lets hope they can continue the good play over the weekend at towson!!!!

GO MASON!!!

That was the most terribly written article to ever come out of the SID. It took me 15 minutes just to figure out what the hell happened in the game.

Bring back Trittipoe.

Ugh.

I couldnt make heads or tails out of it.

Sports hotline was actually updated - - - gave a much better update than that write up.

***I stand corrected. Call the hotline - - its someone reading the story that is on the web!!!! how sad is that!!! ***

Wow, that is a terrible write up. How about we tell you the result of everything first, and then try to fill in what happened... good idea!

Man, the sad thing is, I'm sure I won't be able to get a job as an SID somewhere, and this guy/gal has one!

I'd be willing to bet that on Monday morning a freshman on the Bear Facts will put together a better writeup on the Bruins crushing the Rams tomorrow night than this person did with Mason and Navy.

Sad.

Just read it, WOW. Style is very similiar to posts made on here after 3am, when the poster is presumably drunk.

I saw a couple innings of the game. It looked like batting practice.

Mason got lucky on Shimer's double in the 5th. They ruled that the Navy LF trapped the ball, but it was an obvious catch (you can see everything on the hill).

"Curnow walked and both players advanced and the bases were loaded when J. Munde hit toward the left side of the infield and pitcher Dinwoodie attempted to throw out Curnow at second and didn't beat the runner."

WOW is right, just read the sentence above! It's the run on from hell!
This needs to be pulled from the website...ASAP!

The hill at the Hap is best place to watch a game in the CAA :D

I only saw four innings, so it wasn't that bad... but I would like to thank Mr. Sun for allowing the baseball groupies to wear ridiculously small amounts of clothing.

It was obvious from the bleachers behind home plate that the Navy LF caught Shimer's ball. I don't know what the home plate umpire was doing making that call, but it worked out nice for Mason.

Navy really imploded in the bottom of the ninth. Those intentional walks were a disaster.

TK, Well, it wasnt a crushing, but the Bruins did beat the Rams tonight 3-1. For the record, that concludes a season sweep of the Rams (regular season) for the last time ever in the Patriot District.

Go chew on THAT Gunnie!
