Yes they are different! I think I miss the icons the most :( But hopefully we'll have the same folks and same awesome discussions. Wait, it looks like we can have icons now and we can choose our own.... kick ass! 8)

Forgive me for any stupidity...but why exactly were the boards changed?

As they were they were just costing too much for Chris and Dave to shoulder. And they were getting bigger and getting new members by the day...so they had to go to a cheaper format. I think that's the reason.
